Anybody use beef neck for broth?

Trying to get a head start on Christmas cooking cause we are only getting a couple of days off and I want stocks out of the way. Was in an Oriental Market and saw beef neck really cheap. Lots of meat on them but I wasn't sure how much the bones would contribute. Does't really matter cause I can put some marrow bones in on the reduction but I would like to know.
Thanks
Steve
Thanks

Steve....Yes, and absolutely....and bear will love you too.... I usally mix the neck bones with the cheap shank cuts.

Michelle,
Thanks, I was going to get some shanks but they were more expensive and looked a little iffy. I used to have an Italian market nearby and they would save all their veal bones for me and just give them to me. It's Indian now.

Don't know if they had any hooves available, but they are loaded with collagen....great addition in stocks. (same deal with chicken feet in chicken stock)
Too bad on that market! That was quite the score you had for a while there!

Michelle,
I pondered over them for a while. Funny about the chicken feet though, I use them all the time. I bought ten pounds of duck feet today. I like nibbling on the chicken feet after I roast them off for stock. I can't wait to try the duck feet.
