I was gonna make lamb-burgers,but didn't have any burger buns :pinch: ,so I improvised
:P First,I cubed this up for the grinder......

Fired up the mini...

Then I added Red Eye Express, and formed them into shape...

I don't know what happened here, but alcohol might have been involved

Anyway, they were pretty tasty,I just added cheese to them

You likely made a wise choice. I just look at most things from a different angle from most (sane) people. :ermm:
-
Dang man,you get time off for Christmas? You lucky bastid :P I think I broke most everything already, and I just quit using everything else(better safe then sorry)
Happy holidays mang

That was gonna be my smarta$$ response but I couldn't do it buddy
  Way to think outside the box or was it just too lazy to drive to the store   -
Alcohol involved in a cook! No wonder I don't have a diary of every cook. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Looks good. Now I'm missing those minted lamb burgers we used to get in the pubs in England when we lived there. This is the wake-up call to make some. Thanks for the post.
-
Lookin good. We call that an AWI....
-
Kinda scary isn't it Tom  :P
-
Thanks Bob,care to share the recipe for the minted lamb burgers

-
you know I'm messing with ya,,, Looks good buddy, I'm gonna grind up a brisket and make some elephant turds :woohoo: can I borrow your XL?
-
Well as I said we used to get them in the pub. Most had it as a menu staple. I don't have a recipe, but just googled 'minted lamb burgers' and there are a gazillion recipes out there. Pick one that strikes your fancy. Please post results. I will do the same.
Regards, -
Thanks Bob,I will try them soon, they just sound good
-
Pat,you can use my XL anytime buddy, but for elephant turds, yer gonna need some of zippy's buns :P
-
Sparky,
Lookin' good buddy! Remember the lamb kafte I did a couple of years ago in Atlanta. Teddy got me that awesome tzadziki. Just some mint and corriander in them.

I haven't had lamb that I like very much. But that cook sure looks good.
How well does the meat grinder work on the KA?
GG -
Yea Steve,I do remember that.Teddy hooke you up with some great sauce :woohoo: I was gonna make some, but didn't have all the fixens handy :pinch: I will make it next time for sure :woohoo: Thanks buddy
-
Thanks Kent, the Kitchen Aide grinder works great for smaller batches, but I wouldn't want to grind more than 10-15lbs or so at a time
I never do large batches,so the KA works great for me
-
In my circle, we call those Cevapcici! http://easteuropeanfood.about.com/od/sausages/r/cevapcici.htm
-
Thanks Lynn,I see someone else came up with this idea before me :pinch:  I thought that I was being original :P OH well,I made the meat fit the bread,so I'm happy
:silly:
At least now I can call it Cevapcici instead or lamb-dogs :P
