Mainegg\'s Lobster Dip

I made Mainegg's lobster dip....not quite as good as hers, but still pretty tasty. It did pick up some smoke flavor.

Oh my sakes alive! That's what I say in front of my niece so that things like holy sh** that looks incredible. I'm hungry. I know that the recipe is from Julie....does it come with the lobster? This is Iowa after all.

I bought 1 lb. of lobster tail meat from my fish guy - cooked it gently on cast iron on the egg before I chopped it up and put it in the spread mixture.
Julie said frozen lobster would work fine - can you get that in Iowa?

I know, Steven, it was tough to get to at the Atlanta afterparty - there was a giant crowd surrounding the spread Julie made. I got a teeny taste the very end of it - had to scrape the sides of her cast iron pot with a cracker to get just a hint of the taste of it!
