Into some of Pete's activities today at Fort Hood.
The USO and Fort Hood put on a party for 60,000 and they all showed up. It was for the Nov 5th shootings in making the Fort Hood Community Strong.
Petes friend was to be on hand to cook but the USO changed up something and several Houston cooking teams along with HEB did the food (not a green egg anywhere).
They had 5 Medal of Honor winners and 6 Astronauts (3 from the last mission) on hand. I have been around the service all my life and never seen 5 Medal of Honor winners in all that time.
They had Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, Zac Brown Band, Nick Jonas and Dana Carvey and several more bands.
Toyota sent me in more than 15000 trinkets and trash items and we gave it all away.
Pete this is the first time (on this scale) we have done this and you do it all the time. We do stuff on Fort Hood but nothing like this.
My hat is off to you my friend.
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.
