I knew it would work well.

Glad it worked out! How long did it take? No pics of it in the pan? Tell the folks your setup

So what does the CI stand for???
Looks good by the way...

nasty looking, call Domino's

Looks good, Steve. Bottom crust looks great! Instead of a higher temp, maybe you should just raise it higher into the dome so the top would cook more.
What did you use on the CI instead of lard?
(Jeez, I hope Stike doesn't see this! MORE posts about PIZZA!) :evil:I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

That looks a lot better than the empty pan  Oh, and that nail polish looks much better than the color you were wearing

Been meaning to try this with my 14" Lodge roasting pan as well...
What temp did you go with?
Wonder what the max temp one can go with, and not remove the seasoning?
I did that once, trying to season a C.I. dutch oven.
(600 to 700, I forget..)
Gonna do it the same way again, or differently?

PS, Now let's see if my brand new avitar works... :cheer: -
Ricklesss,
First one was 500* second 600*. Pan seems fine.

Why do these pin heads seem to take such pleasure in being complete dingle berries? Is it so much fun to interupt a discussion with meaningless dribble.
