Remote Meat Thermometer

Looking at getting one. Been cooking the pork loins and it would be nice just to fire the egg up have it let me know when it's done.

Cabela's has one that looks nice for around $70 with good reviews. Any other suggestions?

Maverick ET-73. Has both pit and meat temp alarms. Bed. Bath & Beyond, about $40.00

Many on the forum have the ET 73 I used to till I dropped the sending unit into the egg when removing the meat from it. Melt the heck out of it. Here is a link where you can read about it if you like.

Yep, I have the Maverick ET-73. I use it on low and slow cooks, also used it to monitor Miss Gobble's thigh on Turkey day. It's a wonderful tool, great to be able to monitor the cook from inside the house. My only complaint is the receiver doesn't tell me when it is beyond the range of the transmitter.
