<p />The next few pics depict the great job buttermilk does on meat. The first two are my shrimp-stuffed pork loin with buttermilk, chopped shrimp, and cajun seasoning on the inside, and buttermilk/yellow mustard on the outside. This one is at the start of the day.

<p />This is my 87 year old grandmother who went with us today on the boat to watch the end of the regatta. She uses buttermilk as a skin cream to keep her looking younger.

<p />And this was the first boat across the finish line. Notice the number of sails visible, and there are many more just over the horizon. Not a bad day out, and the BGE baby-sat itself just fine.

King-O-Coals,[p]Uh huh. Actually buttermilk IS a good skin cream/treatment - has lots of natural alpha hydroxy acids in it. Supposedly, Cleopatra bathed in it daily. But that sun will give you wrinkles faster than anything...[p]Mary
