That does not drop the tube into the pot.
Had my metal tube fall into the drip pan 3 times so far today.
I buy basters that are either plastic with rubber bulbs or metal with same plastic bulbs.
Over time and washing the bulb does not hold and do the job. Was thinking that a screw on bulb might be the answer, never saw one.
All thoughts are appreciated. Sometimes have to use a large spoon to baste. TIA

I know exactly what you mean.
I got one similar to this:

Haven't had an issue with it. Mind you only had it for a couple of years. -
how about your injector but without the needle. may need to strain the drippings first. twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

Thought about that but this pot of drippings is in a BGE that is hot and straining hot is too much trouble.

Richard, I have no idea if this one's any good, but the bulb apparently screws on/off.

Has a "spray" head and an injector. One of the reviewers complained that it didn't have a "regular" head - looks to me you could just not use either of the heads it comes with.
OMG, this was my 500th post! stike better watch out!!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
