Salt For Pretzels

I'm going to bake some soft pretzels and while the recipe calls for 'pretzel' salt I'm wondering if the kosher variety would work...

Oh wow, another great-lookin' cook! I'd like to bring my family a batch for Thanksgiving and hope I can come somewhere close to what you all have done. This will be in addition to turkey stock for the stuffing & gravy, cranberry sauce, and loaves of banana bread with pecans and craisins. BTW, if using a dark, non-stick pan, should I use foil or parchment paper to prevent burning? Perhaps I'll need to do some experimenting...

Thanks!! With great success, I've been baking loaves of both onion, & whole wheat bread.. all from scratch (no machines except a K/A mixer) for over 20 years. I'm hoping that the pretzels will be winners too! 8 - ),,,
