Has anyone ever returned a burnt probe and received a free replacement? Papers said to return it and they would replace. Figured I should try, fried probe does me no good :( :(

I wonder what the price of replacement probes are...
-
Maybe $17.00
-
$12 regular, $17 high temp, but it said if you return a burnt one that they would replace for free. Thought I would try, this way might only cost postage

Here is the link to order probes & warranty instructions:

I ordered a few before I got my Stoker. -
They sent me a replacement and said they did NOT want the burnt one back.

I got a free one as well, one time deal. Many probes ago!

In one cook I burn't both the pit and food probe (don't ask me how!). I called Maverick Ind. and they sent me a free pit and high temp food probes free! I did not have to send anything back to them. Tim
