butts
Smoked 10 butts, 5 per cooking. Butts at rear of egg cooked to 195 plus, front butts were still @ 170. Egg clean, took out guts, cleaned good. Does cooking 5 on large egg affect air flow? Has anyone else experienced same thing? Thanks

When I pack them on there that tight I usually move them around during the cook. Mostly so one part isn't hanging over the plate setter for the entire cook. The rear does seems to get a little hotter.

I think most will say large eggs have a hotspot in the rear...line up one of the platesetter legs over the rear...that helps, but as others suggested, rotate at least once when you have that many on one level. past three I try to do a multi tier cook, but I have done 4 on a level before.
