Smitty, the guy who puts on Egg by the Bay, is in the KCBS state championships this weekend in Buckeye. He needs someone to give him a hand, I would do it if I could, but can't. It is a great opportunity to experience first hand what BBQ competition is all about. He is an Egghead and an all around great guy. He needs someone from 8 to 4 on Saturday, can someone help him out? Should be a great time, there are lots of well known entries and the Goatheads from Lake Havasu will be competing. They were the fun group at the Tempe fest last year. Randy, I sure do wish it was in the Florida. That is something I would love to help with if nothing else just for the experience.

I wish I could make it. That would be great to see and I could learn a lot.

I've got 3 soccer games Saturday. We'll probably lose at least two of them, but none of the kids could care less. Drives me nuts, but they like the snacks and seeing their friends.

I could make it Sunday, but not Saturday. Bummer.

Not to mention 4 of the top 5 KCBS teams in the nation are separated by less than 100 points and will all be competing there as well. Given some of the other teams I know that will be there, this will be a premier event based on the quality of the teams.
