I noticed Eddie was online - wonder how he's holding up after Ida paid the coast a visit?
Anyone heard?
I heard on the news that Pensacola got a record rainfall of 3.5 inches !  How well do Eggs float?

I talked to Eddie earlier. He said it was like a good rainy day in Florida. No insurance claims needed for the eggs.

You would of thought a cat 5 hurricane was coming. WalMart looked like he day before Xmas, the gas stations were hit hard, a few running out of gas. Today has been gusty, a little rain. Schools out Mon and Tue for the big event. I know better safe than sorry.

I agree. We stay hurricane ready 365 days a year with enough water, gas and other essentials to last at least 3-4 weeks. We have had bigger problems with summer thunder storms.
It looks like Atlanta may get a lot of water from it.
