I want to share the success of BGE cooking with friends and family who don't live nearby. Can anyone offer tips for how to ship and reheat their favorite BGE food? I have a whole smoked pork butt to send to my father in Michigan and don't want it to be ruined. I'm also planning on sending beef brisket, pork ribs, whole chickens, and other delicacies at later dates.

Thanks for your help, and I'm excited to see everyone's comments on this topic.

I have shipped smoked LOONY from FL to GA, 2 days UPS in a cooler with dry ice. Be careful UPS has rules about dry ice.

I sometimes get foods sent here that have those frozen freezer bags in them wrapped in styrofoam peanuts.

Needs to be less than 5 #'s if my memory is correct. Had to go to the main UPS shipping point. Got a little pricy. Everything got to the party on time. Next time I will freeze before shipping.

Might be cheeper to buy him a BGE and teach him how to use it. .

Sent a couple of pounds of PP to daughter #1 a while back. It was in Food Saver bags, frozen and ups packed it up for me. Being the swell dad I am I sent it next day! Only $60 bucks. Next time I'll ship differently.

    They enjoyed it thoroughly.
