Well I had my one day off and back to work but on graveyards at least this time! Did a really quick low mess cook. The raws:

Simply took a bird and shoved a half beer up the old back side, rubbed some DP's Tasmania under the skin then squeezed a lime under it as well and plugged the neck opening with the rind. Brushed with EVOO and sprinkled with more DP's.

Put the whole thing in a pie pan for no clean up and tossed on a couple chunks of pressimon at 300 for about 2 1/2 hrs to 160 breast temp. Cooked this a little long as went to the feed store while it was cook'en and was at 160 when I got back but still good.

did one of these a few weeks ago...it was great and simple. The lime is a great idea; assuming plugging up the neck makes it even moister... Who is your feathered friend?

That looks like something I would be having on my table, especially with the rice! That teriyaki sauce is the best, too--good to see Jake, JL. Say Hi to D for us.
