I watched Fred's video on youtube, and this caught my eye: "pizza in a Wood Pizza Oven." It starts with preparing and shaping the dough...here's their description: How-to video for making authentic Vera Pizza Napoletana in a backyard wood-fired oven. Covers pizza dough preparation, assembling a Margherita pizza, firing a wood oven and baking."

    I've been wanting to build my own wood fired pizza oven to add to the Chicken Ranch's list of services. After considerable research and design I've pretty much settled on this one. I super-imposed the image of it into the area I want to build it.

    Of course there's a little matter of my old bones lasting long enough to build it, not to mention the funds and patience needed to make it happen.

    Then I can learn how to make a pizza in it LOL

    It does look nice for sure but it also has $$$$$$ marks all over it, not to mention the sweat, sore muscles and probable blood-letting before it can even be warmed up.

    Meanwhile, guess where the pizza's will be made for the one-man construction crew...

    And I can't help but wonder how much that will add to the value of my home when it comes time to move to the nursing home. Probably reduce the value because the next guy will be the type to order his pizza's from Pizza Hut. He probably won't like the Coop either. A-hole!!! Best I just stay here until they spread my ashes.

    Judy doesn't want any part of building it, much less overseeing it's construction. Although the whip thing would probably add a sense of urgency to the project.

    Can't get good help these days, even when the help is me.

    I've either got one year to build it and nine years to enjoy it or nine years to build it and one year to enjoy it.
