LOL. Sad, really. It's unfortunate there is such a dividend when it comes to guns. I've been around guns since i was old enough to handle them. My father instilled the basic principles of gun safety when i was a young kid. Never had any kind of problem.

A couple months ago i was at a buddy's house having a couple beers for a "fish fry" he was having and we got started talking about guns.. Next thing i know i'm checking out his collection of guns. I was looking at his different guns, then he hands me a .22 rifle. First thing you do when someone hands you any kind of weapon is check to see if it's loaded. If you don't know how, ask. Opened up the chamber, and a live .22 round pops out. He had taken the mag out put failed to clear the chamber when he put it away. Stuff like that is how people get hurt all the time. I could have very easily pulled the trigger and shot a hole in the wall or something worse could have happen. Banning guns is not the answer, gun safety and training is. just my .02.

Yeah, allthough the best thing i did was buy a quality gun safe. Kind of expensive, but least i have peace of mind when i'm not at home. If someone breaks in my house, least it will keep them out of their hands. And if I'm home... G17 loaded with a taclight in the dresser.

Larry, the arrowheads are very nice.

Would you consider doing a more detailed thread on the "OT"? I would love to see a few up close and learn of their origins, etc.

This was yesterday. Had the girls (Java and Latte) finding, pointing and retrieving for 5 hunters and the boys (Liam and Gavin) to be in charge of hauling the birds. I had it made, I only had to bat cleanup for the other 4 that couldn't hit a nested XLBGE. a2edc860.jpg
    We had a blast :P

I will take some pictures of each case and give some info on them.I found everything in my collection in the swamps at Briar creek over a 20 year peroid.I will be speaking to 70 women 11-5-09 on Indian artifacts. The indians that lived here were the lower Creek indians.

mr toad, our hobbies are similar although we don't sail as much as we used to. I have a potager as well:

and we took our granddaughter to France, too, in 2007 and are dying to go back:

Where did you travel in the south of France? I'm also a painter; I have a French series that I did from the Languedoc area and Paris. It makes travel tax-deductible, too.

    Adam,

I am from Oshawa Ontario. I do a lot of fishing on Lake Simcoe north of Toronto. Those pics are taken 12 miles out on the lake as per GPS. Nice crappies btw. I get quite a few of them in the spring. In the winter I target, lakers, whitefish, walleye, and perch.
    Lots of fun...

LOL - and here I grew up thinking all the American Indians were out West! Georgia must have had many tribes based on your collection!
