sagetato chips

after looking back at the sweetpertader pie post, I just wanted a plain potato chip with sage embedded inside, so I sliced a left over potato, woofa thin (name that movie, win the prize), a little eggwash, a fresh sage leaf (rescued before my plant goes into hibernation for the winter), then another slice of potato on top, deep fry, & that’s it. These can be made en masse on the egg in a wok, but I was too lazy to go outside & light the damn thing, & I don’t have a wok, which I felt would seriously compromise that plan:

yea mang, & the trick is to only season one side, & keep that side up when you pop it in your mouth, that way the salt doesn't overpower the sage, & the sage comes through beautifully, they really were tastyhappy in the hut

not only did I make the plane, but upon landing, I knew we were about to land, unlike my arrival in Atlanta when, upon landing, I thought we were still a few thousand feet up, & for a second, I really really thought the plane was breaking in half :ohmy:happy in the hut
