Leftover turkey - Poblano Cream Sauce

Played a little winter football :( :pinch:

Then had the boys over for MNF and we had some of the best leftovers I ever made using Serial
Grillers recipe for Spinach/Poblano Cream Sauce and the Mediterranean stuffing left over from Thanksgiving.
The peppers were roasted caveman style right on the coals

which worked great in a couple of ways, it was very quick and I did it while the egg was warming up, which got it well lit and took less unproductive
time to get the egg blowing clear smoke. The peppers were less cooked that most other mays I have roasted peppers which could be good or bad depending on what you were doing with them.
I had reduced the left over turkey stock by 2/3 and used a cup or so to re-warm the mainly rice based stuffing, which could use a little more cooking, 10 min in the microwave and the texture was about perfect. Warmed the cooked single turkey breast at 300 and sliced it and served it with the sauce.

The flavors were amazing and it helped finish an extremely decadent Thanksgiving weekend.

Doug,
Love the football pic - that's the way to play the game!
Nice food cook, very creative use of leftovers. -
I even manage to look somewhat athletic in that shot :ermm:
Thanks Bill

Hey Doug, I really liked the idea of doing peppers right on the coals.
I tried this today as the fire was heating up for pizza. After the peppers were done, I put on the platesetter and pizza stone, and went inside to prepare the peppers to put on the pizza.
Now I will always be making roasted peppers to put on my pizza in the same cook.
