Morning All:
EggHatter decided she wanted pies for tomorrow's dinner with family, so she put together a blueberry for me and a pumpkin for the DIL (not the new DIL).
Actually started the afternoon cooking a half-dozen chicken breasts to have for quick meals this week...
Then on went the blueberry and the finished pie...
that was followed by the pumpkin...
and the completed pumpkin pie...
EggHatter also had some extra pie dough that she made some "pie crispin's" with...roll out the dough, spread with butter, sprinkle on sugar and cinnamin, then roll it up and cut into little sections...
bake for a nice crispy, sugary, cinnamin flavored snack, up close...
Tomorrow will be ribs and some ABTs.

We did apple a couple of weeks ago, but this weekend was my choice and that is blueberry! These will go to the son & DIL house tomorrow for dinner.

I made Pies today too!!
Both were apple, one on the Egg (350 - 400 for an hour)and one in the oven (350, 45 minutes).
both were Eggcellent!
I'm finding the pies on the Egg don't brown/crisp up as well as the ones in the oven. I took mine off after an hour because I figured it had cooked long enough and I had to get supper started.
The crust on your blueberry pie looks like it came out great! -
