Making Burnt Ends?

Have most of last nights brisket flat left and have already trimed off the outer bark and have about 1 1/2#
I guess of a "naked" flat.
What would be a good approach for making some burnt ends?

By definition, burnt ends are from the point. If you want to make them out of the flat, cube it in 3/4" chunks, toss in sauce and serve. It will be close.

Burnt ends come from the point, not the flat. Now if you wanted to chop up the flat, place in bbq sauce in foil for 45 minutes.

Cut them in 3/4" chunks and toss in HOT CI skillet to blacken them, before saucing them.

It will be drying than typical burnt ends, but I've done them that way in a pinch.
