Morning All:
After the weekend it was time to do something basic again (though most of the stuff we did Saturday was basic also, just a lot of it).
Tonight was Crash Hot Tators and burgers, started with the tators on the lower level for about 5 minutes at dome temp about 450, then added the burgers above the tators til they were done...

When the burgers were close to done, I moved them close to the back to finish with some shredded Asiago on both the burgers and the tators for a couple of minutes. Both came out just fine, tators...

and burgers...

I did have one minor casualty from the big event this weekend. My firebox had been cracked into about 3 pieces for quite some time, but when I took it out so EggHatter and I could move it from the car to the stand in the ODK the firebox broke again. Now it is in about 5 pieces...

could I have fitted it back together, yeah, but I just was too tired when we got done unloading everything and since I had a new firebox in the garage from when the first one cracked, then in it went and tonight lost it's virginity...

that bright white just doesn't look normal!
Now to start planning for Atlanta.

Jay how was the quality of the meat from Shawn?

Morning Al:
It was fine. I got the lamb, ground beef, bacon, shrimp and cheeses from him. I never did get to meet him as he had a personal situation the day I picked up the food. Would definitely like to try some more stuff when I have a chance.Have a GREAT day!

Morning Our Nicky:
The pan that I use for the Crash Hots is what I think is called an "Air-Bake" Pizza pan. I have two of them that we have had for years. They are very good for use on the Egg both due to their shape and size. It is probably 16" in diameter which allows good air flow around it, but still plenty of cooking area. HTHHave a GREAT day!

Evening Jay,
I checked out an "airbake pizza pan" on Target's website. Seemed to have holes in it but I didn't see holes in your'n.
I had a great day - thanks
