Chicken Divan and Baked Apple Dessert:

Well, Friday we had company over for dinner. Did chicken divan, biscuits, and dessert was baked apple dish. Thanks Dale for the tips on the apple dessert! Chicken Divan is basically a casserole type dish with chicken, broccoli, cheese, bread crumbs and some other stuff baked. You have to pre-cook the chicken and broccoli. I cooked everything on the egg. Everything turned out perfect. I really think the surprise for the night was the baked apples. They were incredible. No pics of the finished apples, as soon as i got then inside, they were placed in bowls, topped with ice cream and subsequently devoured.


Here's the chicken divan which was made the day before. The chicken and broccoli have already been cooked. This dish was basically pulled out of the fridge. Now all there is to do is put the bread crumbs on and bake

Here are the apples prior to meeting MR egg for an hour. Sorry no pics of the finished dessert, but it was great!

There's a little bit of prep work involved with the chicken divan, but it's great that you can make it ahead of time.
