Pork Butts went to 210

I cooked two 7 pound butts last night. Went to bed at midnight they were at 162. Woke up at 7 and they were at 210and 208, I pulled and wrap in towels till lunch. They were very juicy and tender.
I was worried they would be overcooked, but they were great. That is what I like about butts, they are hard to mess up.

Glad to hear it. I think 205 is the top end usually recommended, so you didn't miss it by much. Probably easier to pull.

My personal opinion: butts cooked to 210 are UNACCEPTABLE!!! Please send them to me a.s.a.p for proper disposal. :P
