Dang Hoss, your knocking 'em out of the park today. I just read your post on Hogapples and was drowning in drool from that one. Now I read this and I'm not getting any relief. I'm outa here, I gotta go fire up the egg so I can cook dinner before you make me any hungrier. Thanks! :cheer:

OMG that's killer! I'm going to do that. BTW went to the cook out with my thermapen and watched those boys sweat their a$$e$ off. Told them after they refueled for the second time that my egg could hold a low and smoke temp for 24 hrs on a single load. Also said that if I had my egg that I'd be sitting under one of the live oaks enjoying the adult beverage of my choice. Then I showed em' the thermapen and that's when they really got pissed. They told me that refueling their steel stickburners with briquetts was half the fun. I then asked what was the other half---nuking everything with matchlite?
Bottom line is when everything calmed down I have a throw down with them for chicken. I'll spatchcock three or four birds and compare them the stuff they had. Sorry to sound elitist but I can't take those who don't know better thinking their process is the only process. They're family. It's all in good fun. One was the SIL who burnt the gasket off my large with matchite.
