Planning my 1st attempt at ribs low and slow tomorrow, indirect. How long should I plan for the cook? Any advice is appreciated.

I do ribs at 250 degrees. 3 hours indirect, 1.5 hours in foil, and then 1 hour indirect out of the foil brushing on the sauce. Good luck. The Naked Whiz

What TJV said cept my BBs have gone 6 at 240.
But don't let time rule. Let done rule. I use the following as a guide but that's just me.
a good pull back on the bone
and they almost go to 90 degrees when you pick them up

I did Car Wash Mikes' Rescipe todayh and it was fantastic. Seem my earlier post with pics. Do a search on here and you will find it easily.
I have also done the Dr BBQ Chanmpionship Ribs and they were wonderful also.
Youcan find instruction and recipe for both.
Today I did ribs at 225 for 3 hours then 250 for 1.5 hours and about 20-30 minutes with the BBQ suace on them. I used Emerils' Rib Rub. This is the Car Wash Mike recipe and it was great! I am a hit with the family again, or I should say the Big Green Egg is a hit.
Good Luck.
