    How come it's OK for people to tell us every time there is an Egg available on Graigslist.com and somehow a no no when Fred wants to give us a heads up on used Eggs he has . I find Fred's site extremely informative. He is one of BGE's best promoters, if not the best, online. His videos are great, and all pro EGG.

    Fred has been black-balled by the in -crowd on this site for quite a while. I have been a member here for a couple of years and I am not sure what he did, but what ever it was many of the in-crowd has black-balled him since. People that I disagree with do a lot for this site, esp. Celtic Wolf. the problem I have is that they think they own the site. I have read for several months that he didn't have a job and the interviews he had, yet I am accused of not knowing the rules. Sparky posts a lot ,but his comments on this issue shows me that he is a want-a -be. I enjoy this site a lot. but I will not sit here and read comments about my comments without defending them.

    Dude, the fact you call Sparky a "want a be" is ridiculous. They guy has been egging for 10 years, owns 4-5 eggs, has built tables for people for free, has made custom handles, etc for people at his cost. He is a great Egghead. And like most he is a really good person.

    I'll jump in on Ron's post and agree 1000%. Yes there are some on this site- not naming names but many others than the 3 you mentioned- who act like they own the site and invented the art of cooking. And then there are others (like me) who are relatively new and come to this site to learn things and have made life-long friendships because of it. Sparky is the real-deal. He's a great friend, very knowledgable, and definitely not a wanna-be.
    I personally have no issue of someone posting about demo-eggs for sale as it may help someone who wants one. But again, the rules are the rules.

    Well, I was going to stay out of it and I probably still should, but I will give you an honest answer to your question.

    There are many folks here who sell bbq related items. Chris has dizzy pig rubs and Todd has carnivore sauces, just 2 names for you. They do not come on the forum and advertise to sell their products. I have to agree with Little Steven with this point only (and I don't know Fred and I am not speaking against him persoanally). It seems that when he shows up on the forum it is to do some promotion to sell things that make money for him. This time it was demo eggs and last tie it was bbq rubs. I hope you notice each time someone does that (denerally a new forum member who sells eggs or accessories) there is usually some spart comments made and they quit. He hasn't. Is it wrong or right, I don't know. I've never met him and if I get close to his store I would like to stop in and see what cool stuff he has.
