Back Nine at Shadow Ridge - OT

Here are some shots (still using cell cameria) from the back 9 at Shadow Ridge during my morning walk. In the canyons of the San Bernardino mts
are some of the oldest and largest native north american palm groves, i.e., oasis, used by ancient indians. San Jacinto Mt and the canyons make for some great day hikes. One must be on alert for Mr. No Shoulders though.

This rather large mt. below is San Jacinto with a peak elevation of 10,449 feet. So one can go from desert floor to alpine conditions in a matter of 20 minutes via the tram. The Pacific Crest Trail skirts the peak.
