Thanks!
How about at redneck, crackhead dance from Jake?   -
Clark,
Your kitchen is fabulous! The food looks delicious (as usual) but the kitchen is spectacular! -
Very nice and delicate meal. Had to taste good.
-
Thanks, Bill. Can't ever get enough scallops!
-
Stacy,
Thanks! We are looking forward to cooler weather when we will probably "live" on the porch! -
I was just going to write the exact same thing as Pickle - (hmm hope I got that name right - too hot to think)
I love your 2nd kitchen and I think I would be using it year round as my main cooking area-- -
beautiful outdoor kitchen. Incredibly nice.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who uses the kingsford charcoal kaddy for lump! -
Thanks on the kitchen. The "Princess" would prefer that I use it EVERY night, so she never has to cook.
I learned about the Kingsford Kaddy here on the Forum... Got it about 2 weeks ago - sure beats fooling with the bags! -
Thanks ! :woohoo:

I hear ya. I'll be in So CAL for two weeks. The first week I'll have a full kitchen - only myself so I won't have anybody to cook for - I'm thinking mussels, clams, scallops, shrimp, fish of varous types for a week.
Second week it's a microwave. Two years ago I learned the hard way DO NOT microwave fish 'cause they explode
:ermm:
There's a gas fired grill available but no eggs. So I'll have to revert to the stove top. -
Clark...
Nice pics...I love Scallops and Pasta!!
Good to hear you're on the mend!
I musta missed it...what happened, if you dont mind me askin"?
EvansI spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!! -
First week sounds great!
You'll have to be pretty creative for the second week. -
Love the Grate Mates!
Got a question, though, but I will email you later today, with pics.
Bicycle accident on 7/4. Over the front and had fractures of both radial heads (just below the elbows), severe sprains of both wrists and a crushed right little finger.
No casts or splints on the arms, but little and ring finger were in a splint for 6 weeks, as was one wrist. Healing now, but still with a good bit of daily pain in the wrists and arms. Going to PT regularly to try and get back all motion in the elbows and fingers. Still can't lift much heavy or twist things (like beer caps).
Anyway - back to work full time, just frustrated due to the continued limitations and pain. -
Man do i love that kitchen! Does your vents above the egg"s handle all the smoke? and does your indoor kitchen get very hot when cooking? Man thats just all year round cooking without going outside. Gotta luv it...
-
Sir Lancealot,
Thanks. We LOVE the porch and outdoor kitchen. Doesn't heat up too much.
Actually the vent doe not always take care of the smoke. Most cooks don't generate much smoke, so there is no problem, but occasionally the smoke does become a problem. I am planning on getting the builder over to discuss options to improve the smoke elimination for those times. A larger, witch's hat type vent, changing the screens to more porous ones or even moving the Egg counter farther out and away from the porch.
