Lid Adjustment

I bought a new BGE small and the dealer put it together for me.
I did my first cook and I noticed that the lid is offset from the tub.
It looks to be a quarter of an inch, subsequently the opposite side has an overhang of the same quarter inch.
It burned the gaskets off, but I go gasket less on my XL so no big deal.
I will be long gone before they get that one figured.
Anyway I digress.
I would sure appreciate some advice on the best way to proceed to get the top lid shifted over a quarter of an inch.

This question has come 4 or 5 times over the last month or so. I haven't followed the follow up posts.

Where your dealer put this together for you, you should give them a call and also call BGE support and ask what to do about the offset between the dome and base.

You can also do a search for 'adjustment' using the search function above.
