Having trouble

I can log in but then I can't get to the forum....when I log out I can't get to the other forums to report my trouble because I am not logged in...this is a perfect storm of frustration... :( :unsure:

Is anyone else having forum access problems???Atleast I can post & view as a guest...Help!!!

I had the same thing Kim. There's something up with the left column with everyone's name that's online. I did what Mark said and just hid the left column.

It takes a little while to get used to this forum.
Make sure when you log in that you click the box that says 'remember me'. Once logged in, go to the Forums menu at the top and select 'Egghead Forum'.

You can customize the look of the forum and then a separate customization on how the actual thread is displayed.

I personally like the Classic view for the forum so I can see who is responding to who. Once I get into a thread, I like 'Flat view' so I don't have to click on each response (just scroll thu them all). At the top you've got many forms of custom buttons, so far I like hide all. Course, I'm still a newbie so I might get corrected here... :S

Hi Anne. Been meaning to tell you when I saw you logged in that I did your bratwurst recipe. It was killer!

Smokey grilled brats in my 12" CI skillet with Yuengling beer, a stick of butter, vidalia onions, green and red peppers and brown mustard. We loved it!

Just kidding, sorry to hear the problem. I have seen where people have had this happen in the past but have never had it happen to me so I am no help what so ever. For what it is worth I too view the forum in the wide format.

You could always try deleting your temp internet files and cookies (this will make you relog onto other sites too). Then try relogging in.

In IE 7 it's: Tools Menu + Internet Options + under 'Browsing History' click on delete, then delete cookies then temp int. files (top two).

As soon as I hide the left column I'm fine. I don't have any problem with speed. Maybe you need to logout of BGE and reboot your computer.
