Tryin a little eggsperiment.Boiled some eggs, put in a jar with a few cloves of garlic,a few assorted peppers, filled 1/3 0f the way with Blues Hog TN Red.Topped off with a boiling white/apple cider vinegar 50/50 mixture, sealed, put into the fridge for at least 3 weeks.Directions say keep refridgerated and they will last 3-4 months. If they taste as good as I think they will,I may be givin em out at Eggtoberfest! :woohoo:

Looks good. I love those things. Had an old friend, gone now, who made them all the time.

Back in the day I mixed up quite a bit of pickled eggs. I did learn one thing,... the wife hates it when I boil up the vinegar in the house. I have to admit, it will bring tears to the eye. I started doing mine on the gasser burner.

It ain't the vinegar that drives my wife crazy!!!

Great idea Hoss! I used to pickel eggs all the time. Really easy to do. Never thought of adding a BBQ twist to them. I wonder how smoking the cooked egg before pickeling at say 200 degrees for 20 min. with lots of smoke would work?

I may try that on the next batch.
