Somewhere in the past I had seen a recipe here that had this sauce in the ingredients, but with multiple searches I have not been able to locate it.

I saw some at an out of town BBQ store and bought a bottle - have never tried it.

Have any of you used this and what is you opinion? Best used on - ribs, ckn, pork?

How does it compare to the Carnivore sauces?

Thanks for your opinions.

I really like the Big Bob Gibson's Championship Red Sauce. It is light and flavorful and very good on pulled pork. It is much different from Carnivore. I would say that Gibson's is a very good spin on a traditional red sauce. Carnivore, on the other hand is not like any other sauce I have tried. It has a unique flavor and a pretty good kick, and the more I eat it the more I like it.

Finally, my guess is that the recipe you have seen is for Big Bob's white sauce for chicken.

    Thanks, Grumps.

Yeah, when I tried searching, all I could find were references to the white sauce. Maybe I should have bought some of that while I was there.

It may be that what I was reading was not on this forum. i think it was a recipe for something besides a sauce, but one of the ingredients was BBG's Red Sauce.

Gettin' old and forgetful is tough!!! :woohoo:
