Best Places to get a whole brisket in Atlanta

Hey guys who live near atlanta...I will be in town for business meetings wed, thurs, fri and would like to pick up a whole brisket on my way out of town on Friday (driving back towards B'ham). Where and what are my best options for picking up a whole brisket near central or Eastern Atlanta. Definately want something without the "enhancements" or added water.

What part of town will you be in? Atlanta is a big place and I wouldn't want to get you going too far out of your way.

I'm not in Atlanta but the other day Walmart down here had packers for $1.89 a pound. I'd phone them and inquire.

Check them out though. All I've ever seen at Wal-Mart here are select grade briskets.

Not sure what you mean by "central" or "eastern" Atlanta, but here are a few you can try.... call first..

I will be staying down by the airport and heading back via I 20 towards birmingham. Anything on the south or eastern part of town would work great, but I would be willing to drive a bit for the right stuff that's priced right. Thanks. John
