But nobody will see my post if I put it there so screw it. Been driving a pickup truck since 1973, saw a popup ad on the internet this morning for the Nissan Cube. Went to the dealer and found I could get in and out of it easily and I sit up high enough to see traffic. Guess since the kids are all gone and Kim has an F-250, it was time to green up a little. This car is so not me, but I like it. -RP

    Very good!!! Does it have much pick up? I don't think that VW next to your new one is very green though... Just kidding... :)

    My Dad had plenty of VW's while I was growing up, including a VW station wagon... :) I can still smell the leather in it... :)

    As I said, green it up a little bit, I still have my truck. The VW is a toy for Kim, convertibles in AZ get less use than anywhere else in the country, its just too hot here. -RP

    I totally understand... Convertibles are for fall and spring... Any other time you will cook stopped at a red-light...

    Same popup appeared on my screen. It got my attention right away, not because it is a "so me" vehicle, but the price. I didn't think new cars would ever get back down to affordable prices.

    Looks like a nice little knock-a-round vehicle. But big guy that I am, I still like my Chevy Avalanche.

    By the way, Spring Hen came this close [] to buying a VW convertable the other day. She talked herself out of it. But she still wants a 'fun' car.

    I am not thrilled with the new forum for OT items either. I do not have any trouble bypassing threads I do not want to read -- OT or otherwise.
