I look forward to meeting you and your wife. It is a great fest. I'm planning a trip also to wine country next trip. Going to make it a 10 day trip, 4 days just wasn't enough of this beautiful area.

Mike, we had a great time. It is really a great fest. More cooking next time??? We did 450 servings!!! It was crazy but fun. I'll be cooking at every fest from now on. I just needed to break the ice and Chubby sure helped me do that. :) He built up my confidence so much that I'm evening doing a cheese smoking class next year.

What a great time. My wife enjoyed it as much if not more then I did. On the way home she says "I think we should get a small egg so we can take it with us to other people's BBQ's and then we won't have to eat crappy food :)". She also wants me to get that new 3 tier lazy Susan rack and said, "maybe we should travel from eggfest to eggfest this summer :).

Who was the nice guy making pizza all day? I can't remember his name but he let little kids, and anyone who wanted to help make pizza and he would weigh the crust and make the best thin crust pizza I have ever had? I wanted his dough recipe and he said it was in the Book Pizza on the Grill sold by the guys there at the fest but the only book they were selling was Grilled Pizzas and Piadanas? I bought both but am not sure which to use? He taught me more about Pizza in one day then I could have learned in a year of trial and error. Eggers are the best! Thanks again Smitty

I'm happy you guys were able to attend this year's event.

"The Pizza guy" was non other than our 2nd place PC Chef Phil Feiner. Phil is a great guy indeed, one our favorites as well. Phil as cooked at every Eggs by the Bay Eggfest thus far...always a crowd pleaser. He posts as "Lucky Duck" when he can get his computer to cooperate-J/K Duck!
