Is it possible to bake a carrot cake in the BGE ?

Yes.
Bake it at the same temp as you would in the oven for the same time.
Same rules, different cooker. Just make sure your fire is burning clean before you put the cake in.

Hi Gary, you can use a 9x13 but the bunt pans really work best. this way you do not have any corners that are close to the three areas that are open to the fire. the bunts you can have right in the center of the plate setter and no burnt corners, or having to turn for a longer cook. carrot cake usually take a bit longer to cook... Julie

I haven't done a carrot cake in the Egg, but gingerbread cakes in a 9" square pan sure come out nice.
