Bobby Flay/Wood Chicks Throwdown

I watched the Bobby Flay/Wood Chicks Butt Throwdown yesterday. I kinda had an idea how her butts would turn out on her offset but his approach was interesting. I won't be doing it on my Egg but I thought I would pass the link on for comments.

    the fact they classify that as difficult goes to show how incredible the bge is. Of all the things to do on the egg, I think that pork butt is by far the easiest (and my method is identical to the wood chicks). Apparently Flay lives a few streets away from me... might have to let him come over and try out the xl. Maybe they can get a celebrity spokesperson!

    one of my favorite episodes .. . .i know leAnne pretty well, and she is just as nice and sweet and genuine in person as she appears on the show ...don't get me wrong thow, she is a fearce competitor, hates to lose!! ...but just as nice as can be.. . couple of years ago when sydney and i competed down in chesapeake and our regular brisket supplier had just had the big fire here, i was able to get her get me my briskets.. . .

    and one thing, leanne is a BIG GREEN EGGER. ..she has 2 or three now and while still learning how to use them, she uses them in competition now. .. .

    In order to barbecue in Flay's shoes, the first thing you'd have to do is buy some loafers with those little tassels on them.....

    Snazzy and manly are two different things....but I see where you are coming from.

    The only rubber footwear I own are a couple pairs of Sorel's, with the leather uppers (and felt liners), and one pair of 5 buckles. Neither one could be called snazzy.
