This looks like it's going to be really great. I spoke to my wife about it yesterday, and she was concerned about what we would do with our kids (2 under age 4) at an Eggfest, especially while I am cooking.

I had no idea what to tell her, since I have never been to one.

Any suggestions on what I can say to make this sound as appealing to her as it sounds to me?

    Mark:

I'm planning on bringing my 15 & 12 year old girls, 10 and 8 year old boys. I already booked rooms for the family.

Maybe we can convince the girls to baby sit!

Tim GOV ---if it's a B-day party at the winery too, do you think they'll have a bouncy tent, etc. for the kids?

Just a few items here folks..

The website is still a "work in progress" - I hope to have it done sometime tomorrow.

GOV: updated images coming your way.

We've already booked our rooms at the hotel :woohoo:

Charging for admission . . .hum . . .wonder how this approach will affect the attendance by the semi-curious

I hope everyone has a great time and take lots of pics!

    Tim,

Met your neighbours today. I used to like you too. Let the poor guy take your egg for a test drive.
Everyone there was buzzing about the fest.

    SkySaw,

There are always kids at Eggfests (at least in my limited eggsperience). I talked to Tim about getting something in and I will look into it. At my daughters school on family night they get inflatable slides, those ball tanks and some other stuff. This place is right over the water and with kids that young you would really want to watch them. You could bring a babysitter with you.
