RUST on BGE Small Cast Iron Grill

I am getting lots of bottom rust on my BGE Small cast iron grill. It is only on bottom as the top and sides are just fine???????
It is the flake of type....

It won't hurt anything but you might wire brush it off every once in a while and spray/wipe some Pam on it.

Haha...mine is the same way. I may get a nice wire brush as S.C. suggested and just re-season the thing again. I was using it to sear steaks down in the spider on the LBGE.
