Great time on Jackson Lake today

Thanks to Big'un and family.The North GA Eggers had a gathering today,unfortunately,only Barrett(firestarter21)and Kendal(his girlfriend) made it there,as did Carson(my 5yr old) and I.We still had a great time and ate very well :woohoo: Todd made some pastrami and pulled pork beforehand.He also made some prosciutto wrapped pickled peaches(AWESOME) :woohoo: .I didn't have any time to prep anything,so I just brought some andouille and Italian(with spinach and feta)sausage.Barrett made some delicious dessert with chocolate and peanut-butter chips(don't remember the name of it) :blush: Todd's boys really did a great job keeping Carson entertained.Kenny showed him how to catch fish,and Rory spent plenty of time in the pool with him,as well as catching frogs :ohmy: .Thank you Big'un,Jeannie,Kenny,and Rory for the hospitality.Ya'll really know how to make someone feel welcome ;):) Here's a few pics :whistle:

    Doug, it was our pleasure to welcome you and Carson to our home again! You are always such a great guest and always improve the atmosphere just by being here. Tell Carson we still have a few fish left in the lake, even after he nearly caught them all. :laugh: And frogs too!

    After you left, we broke into the tequila and the rum. We sent the ladies to the grocer to purchase some Tbones and we grilled into the night. Barrett and Kendall left a few minutes before 11:00pm, they were camping up the road. Their dogs Lilly and Shivers, were very well behaved. I wonder how much dog activity kept them awake in the tent, with all of the thunderstorms.

    We really enjoyed having yall spend the day with us. BTW, great pics!

    for not making it down to your house yesterday. I didn't get out of my meeting until after 4 and with the crappy weather I decided to head home. Looks like all had a great time and hope we get something scheduled for the NGE's real soon.
