help with boar roast

Has anyone ever cooked wild boar? I need some ideas "temps, setup, seasoning"

Several questions need to be answered before I can give any advice on cooking wild pigs. When you say wild boar, how large was the animal? If he weighed more than 200#, they generally are VERY strong tasting. For my family’s consumption I limit the size I harvest wild to about 120#s. That being said, I cook all my pork with the same recipes wherever it came from. If I buy it at Sam’s or harvest it myself, it all taste and cooks the same.
