1. Reheating left over bb ribs. What is the best method?

2. I'm taking a 10# butt off soon for Fridays lunch. What are some proven methods to keeping as much of the super yum in it? I will vacpac it. Cooling/pulling is what I'm not sure of.

    I put em in a vaccum sealed bag and heat um up in boilin water. ;)

    Whats the cooling process? Pull it and then let it cool on the counter for a bit then the frig and finally into the vacbag????

    1. This is for a quick bite of dinner I assume? Hate to admit it, but I nuke them.

    2. My recommendation, pull the meat as soon as it is cool enough to handle....sauce it just enough to keep it moist....allow to cool COMpletely (loosely covered in fridge with saran). Once fully cooled, wrap container tightly with saran for Friday. Going to be served in less than 2 days, no need to vac pack...just a waste of your expensive vac bags. Or if you want to do the boil in a bag method for the reheat of the pulleed, do NOT vac pack until chilled.

    Just my 2 cents.....

    ps...what about the "perfect steak" wife??? Saga update?

    My little guy and I tried the ribs cold and never stopped trying them...gone.

    Thanks on my butt, I knew you couldn't resist it. I mean you would know what to do to it..with it.

    I told "Jill" that I will teach her how to cook any of her dream dinners on HER Egg. Egg trials are over. She has eaten whole and wings/legs of chicken, pork t-loin, Pulled pork, smashed taters, 2 dif. batches of BB ribs, smoked Salmon....And still askin for more. She will be eatin my Butt on Friday too. Then she can kiss it :laugh:

    I'm bringin the new "Small" egg for fundogs and burgers on the boat :woohoo: Maybe some fat steaks for dinner as well.

    Nothing wrong with bringing the small on outings like this...afterall, you would be LOST if you were Eggless!! :woohoo: :whistle:
