Well probably you've seen a funny looking construction at the back of my Egg photos...It's a Segovian Wood Oven made the way the romans built them 2000 years ago when occupying Spain most noticeably in the town of Segovia.

Decided to give my eggs a break and light the monster after over a year's sleep..quickly built the temp up to 200 C (about 380 F) usually it performs rather well..but this time he was angry....

It was a friend's birthday so he brought some Negrilla fish (looked it up and apparently is called the same in english) quite a delicacy in here....he decided to cook it in a coarse salt crust.

the salt had to be hammered off and eventually crumbled and managed to scrape some bits of fish..... actually one of the girls said it tasted like lobster..... :P a very salty one for sure
Apparently we had to add some eggwhites to the coarse salt & water mix.

Luckily he also cooked a black rice paella (with squid and ink)and it was absolutely delicious!!!!!
