Start at 350 dome and watch them with an open dome. Flip every 2 minutes or so. :P :PYou must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP
-
I'd do these at 400 degrees dome temp., on a raised grid. Don't get too wrapped up in dome temps. when grilling! I do all my grilling with no thermometer at all.......Trust the fire......
-
Kinda like brownies huh :S
:P -
No, Patrick!! Not quite like brownies......I don't grill my brownies! I know, they may look like they've been grilled, but, you're gonna be surprised to see the egret man win the brownie throwdown next week in Waldorf!!
:woohoo: -
Sorry buddy but I have to put my money on the Spawn in this one. Ya'll have a great time at Waldorf next week.
-
Pat, I think you're going to lose this bet. I saw egret in action in Iron Chef competition in OKC and I think he's going to pull out a win in Waldorf. My money's on Johnnie!!
-
But he's going up against the champ in this one Anne. OH and wasn't it Desert Filly that won that one
  I'll give you 3-1 odds :woohoo: -
That's what I'm talkin' about, girlfriend!! I may even throw in some tequila in mine!!  :woohoo:
-
The "T" word isn't going to be mentioned in Waldorf. I didn't feel somewhat "normal" until Wednesday. :woohoo: This will be an N/A fest for me. If you want me to pour and light your shots I'll be more than happy to do that. But nothing with alcohol will be going in my body.
-
You're on Pat. How does this sound....if I win you send me 3 jars of Bomba. If you win I'll send you 3 cans of Bud. :woohoo: Are we on???
-
Your on but the Bud better be cold  And that is more like 100-1 odds
-
3 cans of bud aren't even close to being worth 3 jars of Bomba
-
I was thinking big silver (kegs) sized cans
:woohoo: :woohoo:  -
Pat, you must've misunderstood me. I said "Budweiser", not "Milwaukee's Best". It will arrive cold, don't worry. When it comes to baking egret is tough to beat. Those pictures of burnt brownies weren't his. That was a dirty trick that was played on him and it gave him a bad reputation.
I'll give you a call from Waldorf and give you the results so you can get the Bomba in the mail.
-
Pete, you don't know the value of a can of cold "Bud". :woohoo:
-
Trust me I do..
Regardless of how good he thinks he is at baking he will not beat Spawn's Brownies -
Word on the street is that Spawn's recipe is a box mix with chocolate chips thrown in. I just think egret can outbake anyone. We'll have to see. Any bets Pete???
-
-
I would not want to take anything from you.
The word on the street is absolutely wrong..
Her Brownie's have won 1st prize in a few KCBS competitions. You are backing a losing horse this time.. -
Thanks for the link Pat. :( This will be interesting, egret is a real competitor and doesn't want to lose.
