I am cooking on today using the Mad Max method, but have no idea of what time to put it on?

Any cookbook will tell you how to cook it in an oven ,,,,, the BGE is just a lump fired oven.

We did a rib roast last weekend and it turned out awesome. While I used an external thermometer with a probe to get the desired internal temp, it took about 3 hours at 325 degrees for a medium roast. I'd really recommend getting a digital thermometer if your don't have one, I found one at WalMart for $16.99, and it has a wireless base unit, so I could clip it to my belt and check progress from wherever I was at. I think our roast was about 5 lbs.

17-20-min per lb. at 325* pull when the internal temp. is 130* for med rare let rest for 30-min. before carving
