I noticed that my dome is uneven and it is elevated in the rear. I am losing heat and smoke. How do I adjust?

What size Egg?

Loosen the nuts on the bands. Let the dome settle firmly against the bottom. Tighten the nuts. Shouldn't take you over 2 minutes and you can do while you're cooking. If you're not cooking at a high temp or having trouble cooking at a low temp, you don't even have to worry about it for your current cook and can re-seat the dome once everything cools.

Thanks E. That did the trick.

Glad that worked.

It is not a good idea to tighten the bands when hot, it could crack.
-
That is the egg that could crack of course, not the band.
