    thanks for the heads up yesterday Richard but I already had that whole NY strip. BTW it was $4.69 a pound. Maybe I need more freezers :whistle:

    A better deal @ $5.47/# on the SunCoast (but I don't think it would be worth the drive for you)! 8 - ) I often find their standing rib roasts to be more like steak than succulent, prime, roast beef. I've read that the best cut is from ribs 10-12 (or thereabouts). What's your take on this?

    I also have $5.57. typo. I make COWBOY steaks out of them about 30-32 Ozs each. Just seasoned and Food savered 4 great BGE meals. Right now working on a 1/2 bushel oysters for the next few days.
