Hello everyone,
I am spending a week in Melbourne Beach, Fl and just wandering where is the best BBQ joint in this area. Thought I might try out a new place while I am here.
Thanks!

I know Richards address.....How much is it worth to you?Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery

I'm sure Richards BBQ is great...but I was thinking more of an establishment. Funny...I had a feeling I would get a few of those responses.

We were treated to a great meal & better company by Richard & Gloria last July. Of course, it did cost me some smoking wood.

My house :woohoo: :woohoo: :P Not too much in the way of good commercial places here but Dustins across the bridge on Wickham rd. is ok. When will you be down??

I am here visiting my in-laws. I never order out for BBQ anymore since getting my egg. It is never as good as what I can make at home...but I like to check out places I have never been.

You can try Woodys on A1A across from paradise beach or drive across the bridge to dustins on wickham rd. My suggestion is skip the bq and go to Ichabods dockside across the Melbourne causeway and try the conch fritters and fried oysters.

I am 20 minutes from Pat's. Try Jake and Charlie's on Eau Gallie on the beach side and in the Suntree area they have another Jake & Charlie's with a micro brewery.
Drop me a email If you wish more info. lived in Melbourne Beach for 20 years, been here 30 years toooo many. -
Forgot about Charlie & Jakes. They do have a good pulled pork sandwich.

Chris,
I have heard great things about Slow & Low BBQ in cocoa beach, Ive been meaning to check it out myself. It's about a 25 min drive or so up A1A from melbourne beach. Lots of other stuff to do before or after you eat in that area also. Check out their website: slowandlowbarbeque.com

Why do you say forget about C/J's and then add they have a good pp sammy? I like their prime rib sammy.
