I have searched the forum trying to find some of the pictures of crated some of ya'll have built to take small/medium egg on the road for camping/tailgating. Any suggestions where I could find these pictures?

That is really a nice set-up!!! I am toying with the idea of getting a traveling Egg and would like to make something like that.

Plans? Uh, well, not really. Just kinda winged it. It's was pretty easy. Just have four bolts sticking up from the bottom half for alignment purposes.
